Marissa Martoni’s passion for hairstyling was born from years of learning the craft at her mother’s Midwest salon. Smitten with the excitement of salon life and compelled to play in the big leagues, Marissa took a bold leap and moved to New York City in 2011. It was then that she studied under Mark Ryan Salon owner Ryan Trygstad and fellow celebrity stylist Tommy Buckett. 

Channeling the expertise gleaned from Ryan and Tommy, Marissa utilizes various cutting techniques to create chic long layers, edgy short cuts and everything in between. Her specialty is creating elevated looks with a fresh and playful edge. Her aesthetic is as inspired by the runway as it is by the beauty of the city around her.

As a certified Great Lengths hair extension specialist, Marissa has earned a stellar reputation for beautiful, natural-looking extensions. Her talent has led her to work with a myriad of celebrities like Rita Ora, Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Beckinsale. She counts Bobbi Brown as one of her most loyal clients.

When she’s not working her magic in the salon, Marissa lends her creative expertise in cutting, styling and extensions to fashion campaigns, photo shoots and New York Fashion Week.
