Simmons

STYLIST

Originally from Arkansas, Simmons discovered his love for hair and fashion at an early age. In high school, he built a successful braiding business, igniting a passion for hairstyling that never faded. Though he initially explored other career paths, he ultimately followed his heart, earning his cosmetology license in 2017 and stepping into the professional world of beauty.

He trained under Joel Galloway, where he built a strong foundation in classic beauty techniques. In 2021, eager to challenge himself in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment, he moved to New York City. There, he joined Serge Normant, assisting renowned stylists Tommy Buckett and Eugene Smith, before joining the Marie Robinson Salon, where he refined his craft and cultivated a loyal clientele.

Beyond the salon, Simmons has contributed to editorial shoots for brands like Marc Jacobs and V Magazine, featuring his work in W Magazine. While he thrives in the creative energy of fashion and editorial styling, his true passion lies in the salon—helping clients discover their perfect look and building lasting relationships.

With a deep appreciation for natural hair textures, Simmons specializes in creating effortless, stylish looks that celebrate each client’s individuality. To him, hairstyling is about more than aesthetics—it’s about confidence, authenticity, and making every client feel their absolute best.
