Valerie was born and raised in Europe and brings that European elegance and chic to New York and her approach to hair. With a lifelong interest in fashion, art, and beauty, she studied Art History at the Fashion Institute of Technology before beginning her career in color. That foundation continues to shape her eye today, influencing the way she considers tone, dimension, skin tone, and each client’s individual features.

Blonde has always been Valerie’s greatest passion. Her work spans the full spectrum, from bright platinum and luminous golden blondes to soft, natural, sun-kissed color. She is especially drawn to creating luxurious blondes that feel polished and sophisticated while remaining effortless and wearable. Beyond blonde, Valerie creates rich, dimensional brunettes and vibrant reds, always tailoring the tone to the person wearing it.

Valerie spent a formative part of her career at Marie Robinson Salon, where she worked closely with Marie under her mentorship. That experience helped Valerie refine her eye and develop her own approach to color. She believes the most beautiful color is deeply personal. It should complement your features, your style, and your lifestyle, while ultimately still feeling like you.
